Boil an egg with no water

I was just watching last weeks episode of Dragon’s Den. I love this show. Anyway, one guy who did get an investment was James from Staines with his invention that boils eggs without water. He’s got two models. One looks like a little Dalek and the other looks like two sun-beds for eggs. Deborah didn’t … Continue reading “Boil an egg with no water”

He’s got two models. One looks like a little Dalek and the other looks like two sun-beds for eggs. Deborah didn’t think it was a good idea at all, but I think she couldn’t be further off the mark. What a great idea!

How accustomed are we to toasters these days. Do you know anyone who doesn’t have a toaster? It’s easier to put a slice of bread under a grill than it is to find a pan, boil some water and get the timing just right for that perfect egg. I will certainly buy of of these when they’re available. Furthermore, I reckon they’ll be almost as common as toasters within 10 years.

Dear Santa

All I want for Christmas this year is anything apart from the Back To The Future box set. No, I’ve not gone insane. I love the movies as much as any other 70s child, but news is spreading that Michael J Fox is currently discussing a forth movie. How good would that be?! Very good, … Continue reading “Dear Santa”

I love the movies as much as any other 70s child, but news is spreading that Michael J Fox is currently discussing a forth movie. How good would that be?! Very good, that’s how. So Santa, please scrap this from list. I’ll add it to my 2007 wish list.

Filming of The IT Crowd

I got into work the other day and the guys said they got tickets for new sitcom called The IT Crowd. Rob had the cheap night out idea of checking out what tickets you get for free and applied for four. I got into work the other day and the guys said they got tickets for new sitcom called The IT Crowd. Rob had the cheap night out idea of checking out what tickets you get for free and applied for four. Luckily my lovely friend Nikki, works for Talkback Thames and was able to get me a couple. It’s written by Graham Linehan of Father Ted fame and produced by Ash Atalla (The Office), so off to a good start there. It’s about the IT support department stuck in the murky basement of modern office block. I’ve worked on a helpdesk before and found the set quite accurate to my previous surroundings. I also know that a majority of IT bods tend to be highly egotistical or, like chefs, completely mad. Either way, this could lead to some interesting character profiles.

When you go to these types of shows, it’s common for a stand-up comic to stretch-out the laughter glands of the audience. This case was no exception and the gags were provided by Patrick (don’t know his surname). He was very funny. He didn’t have a routine, but just played off crowd banter enquiring into peoples occupations, like Mark, who makes hair dye.

Slap n’ tickle

If you haven’t seen Secretary, then you should (as long as you’re over 18 that is). James Spader actually works well as the sleazy, weird boss. In the meantime, why not relieve yourself on the Secretary spank me toy? It’s one of the better interactive elements from a movie Web site type thing. Requires sound, … Continue reading “Slap n’ tickle”

Kept me entertained for about 14 seconds anyway.

Screen Select

The lovely Nicole has bought us 3 months subscription to Screen Select in return for using our flat for the filming of personal. I’m loving this site. You make a list – and I love a list – of your favourite movies from their selection (which is just about everything available on DVD, although they didn’t have Pauly Shore is Dead) & providing you list is over 10 movies long, they’ll send you up to 3 of them. When you’ve seen them, you pack them away in their easy to use envelopes & pop them off back to the website.

Team America

A good friend has just informed of new movie called Team America. It’s by the makers of South Park & looks awesome! Set for release on 15 October in America only, but keep checking for dates everywhere else. Can’t wait – but looks like I’ll have too.

Do you fear change?

BBC are also currently running series 4 of Coupling. This has a similar effect to my Second album syndrome theory. Coupling have lost the best character Jeff, played by Richard Coyle & have replaced him with a similar personality called Oliver.

The Mighty Boosh

BBC Three are half way through showing The Mighty Boosh series on Tuesday’s at 22:30. I think it’s very funny. Full of comedy, music, talking animals & style – fantastic! The BBC‘s site also contains some photos & short clips.
