Dear Santa

All I want for Christmas this year is anything apart from the Back To The Future box set. No, I’ve not gone insane. I love the movies as much as any other 70s child, but news is spreading that Michael J Fox is currently discussing a forth movie. How good would that be?! Very good, … Continue reading “Dear Santa”

All I want for Christmas this year is anything apart from the Back To The Future box set. No, I’ve not gone insane. I love the movies as much as any other 70s child, but news is spreading that Michael J Fox is currently discussing a forth movie. How good would that be?! Very good, that’s how. Just like MacGyver

Who needs plumbers?
Who needs plumbers?

Look out MacGyver, there’s a new master of practical science! Who needs a plumber when you’ve got a Vittel bottle and some chewing gum?

Last week I noticed a drip coming from my upstairs toilet. This drip became more frequent enticing me to it’s damp origin. It’s only a bus, but I can see it’s a shame to see them go as they have so much character. Last year when there was a tube strike, I managed to hop on the back of one and I remember admiring it’s features, like the way the driver sits afore everyone else and the spiral staircase.

Not that anyone will be interested, but I’ve upgraded my publishing software for this site to version 3.2. I had a few teething problems as I publish my pages in PHP and as the default file permissions in 3.2 are set to non-executable, these did not run… as I learnt the hard way.

All working now though, and I must say – I really like Movable Type 3.2. It’s a great piece of software with some clever little functions and now has a colourful interface.
