The garage is a great little venue. Small intimate and conveniently close to the tube. It is also, very very loud. Too loud in fact, to the point that I may never return. Maybe I’m getting old? But My hearing was not right for a day.

The support act we surprisingly good. Wannabe Ian Curtis front man urged the crowd forward to soak up 2000 decibels of dry faced synth tunes backed by hard drums and fuzzy bass.

Soulwax on the other hand, were rather dissapointing. Lead singer seemed to miss his cue a few times and the new material misses the mark slightly. A shame, as last time they absolutely blew me away!
